Dembele could return to the starting line-up against Bayern

Ousmane Dembele has returned to training with the team ahead of Saturday’s FIFA Club World Cup quarter-final against Bayern Munich.

Dembele has recovered from a thigh injury and play around 20 minutes as a substitute in the 4-0 rout of Inter Miami. With PSG physiotherapy coach Alexandre Dellal telling RMC Sport the 27-year-old has been following a strict rehabilitation plan and could return to the starting line-up on Saturday. 

‘He needs to regain his ability to train hard and at full speed. He’s back on track after three weeks on the sidelines and the contract shows it’s going to be good.’

Asked if Dembele would return to the starting line-up against Bayern Munich, Dellal said: ‘I wouldn’t be surprised. He could start or play 30 or 45 minutes. A full week of training is the perfect timing.’
